Larry Stubbs began his musical career at the tender age of 5. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to jazz trombonist, Willie Stubbs and vocalist, Camille James-Stubbs, Larry started playing drums under the tutelage of Clyde Stubblefield (formally of the James Brown Band) and Joe Burke (formally of the famous Incline Band). Larry has spent time on the road and his resume spans the musical spectrum from Gospel and R&B to Jazz and Country.
